Welcome to our guide on how to use the Polar plugin to sync your GPS data with your match. Follow the steps below to link your account, download your activity data, and successfully sync it with your match.
Step 1: Link Your Polar Account

Navigate to My Account Page:
- Log in to your account on our site.
- Click on the My Account section in the navigation menu.

Scroll to Sync Polar GPS Data:
- Scroll down to find the Sync Polar GPS Data section.

Click on Link Account:

Approve Account Linking:
- Follow the prompts on the Polar website to authorize the linking of your accounts. Once you have approved the linking, you can return to our site.
Step 2: Download Your Activity Data
- Return to Sync Polar GPS Data:
- Go back to the Sync Polar GPS Data section on your My Account page.
- Select Date:
- Choose the date for which you want to download your activity data from the date selection menu.
- Retrieve Activity:
- Click on the Retrieve Activity button to download the activity data for the selected date.

You can only retrieve activity after the date you linked accounts - Activity you recorded before linking your Ref-Vision and Polar accounts cannot be retrieved

Step 3: Sync Activity with a Match
- Go to Your Match:
- Navigate to your dashboard and click on the match you wish to sync the data with.
- Access Match Settings:
- Select the Settings option for that match.
- Select GPX Upload:
- In the settings menu, choose GPX Upload.
- Select Your GPX File:
- Click on Select GPX File
- On the next page, from the dropdown menu, choose the downloaded activity file you retrieved earlier.
- Position the Map:
- The map on the page will adjust to reflect the uploaded activity. Click on the four corners of the pitch to accurately set the field boundaries.
- Pause the Video:
- As the match video plays, pause it at the moment the match started.
- Submit the Sync:
- Click on the Submit button to finalize the syncing process. Your activity data is now successfully linked to the match!
